Theme: Easter Sunday

From September 2025, the first Sunday in the month will continue to be a Communion service, led by Rev Ralph Ward and featuring contemporary band led worship.

For Sunday services we have a children's area in the main body of the church with toys and small tables and chairs.  There are also toys in the seating area of the foyer, please feel free to use both these spaces and come and go as you wish during services.

Urgent work on the Chapel roof - a huge thank you to the Benefact Trust!!

As many in the local community and our congregation know, we are completing significant work to our church roof.  This will enable community events and our ongoing mission and fellowship to continue and grow in a safe and welcoming environment for years to come.  Methodist Church funds (both local and national) have been used but we are extremely grateful to the Benefact Trust for the £51,000 grant awarded for this project.  This has made a huge difference in enabling ALL the required work and enhancements to go ahead.

About Benefact Trust:

Benefact Trust is one of the UK’s largest grant-making charities. The Trust’s grants further its charitable objectives of promoting the Christian faith and other charitable causes. Its funds are largely derived from ownership of the Benefact Group - a specialist financial services organisation. Since its foundation in 1972, The Trust has awarded over £235m in grants - £100m in the last 5 years. Applications are welcomed from all parts of the UK and Ireland, particularly from areas of social and economic deprivation.

Benefact Trust funds projects that tackle homelessness, poverty and social exclusion. The repair, restoration and wider community use of churches and cathedrals of all denominations is also supported.
